Dr. Mueser is a Professor at the Dartmouth Medical School Departments of Psychiatry and Community and Family Medicine. He received his doctorate from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has held past positions as Director of Psychology Internship Training Program and Associate Professor at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Mueser has written hundreds of publications for professional journals and has given numerous presentations across the nation on Illness Management and Self-Directed Recovery. He serves on numerous committees and panels including the National Institute for Mental Health, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, and the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse, and the National Inventory of Concurrent Disorders Program.
