Aloha, thank you for attending the 2nd annual Best Practices Conference. The conference was open to nurses, physicians, psychologists, social workers, other mental health care providers, students, consumers of mental health services and family members. The conference was supported in part, by a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The conference was held at the Hawaii Convention Center located at 1801 Kalakaua Avenue. Although the conference is over, this website remains as a resource for persons interested in the event.

The goal of this annual conference is to embrace Oahu nickname "The Gathering Place" by becoming "The Place" where mental health professionals, consumers, and stakeholders from Hawaii and the Pacific will have the opportunity to congregrate, exchange ideas and learn from each other. The Adult Mental Health Division and our collaborating partners are committed to providing an outstanding annual conference agenda and hope to see you in the future.
